Traditional nine-pin bowling!

The perfect place for a unique get-together in the Barossa.

Dating back to 1858, the club was the venue for a game (a precursor to today’s tenpin bowling) played by the Valley’s early Silesian settlers.

League competitions are played on Thursday and Friday nights (visitors welcome) and the venue is available for hire on weekends (minimum numbers apply).

Visitors are welcome to watch and there is a small bar and viewing area in the hall.

Barossa Farmers Market

Take a stroll around the Barossa Farmers Markets on a Saturday morning between 7.30am and 11.30am.

Check out all the stallholders on their website!

Barossa Tourist Information Centre is 300m away from Fernweh Guesthouse.

We are so central it's possible to plan a full day of walking to wineries (Langmeil, Peter Lehmann, Chateau Tanunda, Greenock Estate and the boutique wineries - Michael Hall and Reislingfreak).

Along the way, spend some time in Tanunda's main street and enjoy a coffee break, various bakeries, great restaurants for lunch, historic churches, museum, Wohler's Furniture and second-hand shops.

The supermarket is also only 300m away.
